All GP appointments are now telephone or video consultations (not face-to-face).

You will only be asked to attend Surgery to see a GP under certain circumstances.

Appointments to see our Practice Nurse will continue to be face-to-face.

 

If you are asked to attend this Surgery for a face-to-face appointment,

please wear your own face covering or mask.

You will be asked to use hand-sanitzer before entering this Practice.

 

This Practice is working under strict infection control guidelines.

 

No patients are waiting in the waiting rooms,

so you will need to attend if requested at the exact appointment time.


Please ring our door bell on arrival, and a receptionist will let you into the premises.

eConsult is not for requesting prescriptions/medication

If you would like to request a repeat prescription, please send an email to southgatesurgery@nhs.net

with your name, date of birth, and the medication that you need.

Please would you also nominate a Pharmacy where you can collect your medication,

as your prescription will be sent directly to them.


 

PHYSIOTHERAPY SELF-REFERRAL PORTAL FOR ENFIELD RESIDENTS

You can now refer yourself for physiotherapy treatment without having to see your GP.

 Please visit www.physioselfrefer.co.uk/BEH to register. 

Your details will be forwarded to a Physiotherapist for assessment.

Practice Charter

  • WE WILL answer the telephone as quickly as possible. However, there are times when the Practice is very busy, so please be patient. 
  • WE WILL try to keep waiting times to a minimum but delays are sometimes unavoidable, when treating sick people. 
  • WE CAN arrange for you to see your health records (subject to the limitations of the law). Please ask at Reception. 
  • WE WILL NOT DISCLOSE patient information to a third party without a patient’s written consent. 
  • WE WELCOME comments, complaints and suggestions about our services and will deal with these promptly and in confidence. 
  • WE PROVIDE full information on the services we offer. Please ask for our Practice Information Leaflet at Reception. 
  • PLEASE TELL US if you change your name, address or telephone number. 
  • PLEASE FOLLOW THE ADVICE given about any treatment or ways of avoiding illness. Please ask if you are not sure about anything. 
  • PLEASE HELP to keep the waiting areas clean and tidy. 
  • PLEASE ONLY ASK for a Home Visit if you are too ill to attend the Surgery. 
  • DO NOT CALL THE DOCTOR when the Surgery is closed unless you require urgent medical attention. 
  • PLEASE ASK for a repeat prescription in good time, giving us at least 48 hours notice. Do not wait until you have completely run out of medicines. 
  • PLEASE CANCEL an appointment if you are unable to keep it or it is no longer required. In any one month, approximately 30 appointments are wasted because patients do not cancel or fail to attend. 
  • THIS PRACTICE OPERATES A ‘ZERO TOLERANCE’ POLICY ANY PATIENTS BEING VERBALLY OR PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE TO ANY OF OUR STAFF WILL BE REMOVED FROM OUR LIST IMMEDIATELY.
